inploi-hosted careers sites are configured with the analytics plugin as part of inploi’s SDK setup during implementation. It records anonymised candidate activity from the first visit — page views, job views, application starts, and completions — without any further configuration in the CMS.

What is tracked

Candidate journeys on your careers site are measured from first visit through to application submission. This includes:
  • Page and job views
  • Application starts and completions
  • UTM and campaign parameters from tagged job posting links
  • Source attribution for reporting in Studio Insights
Events are anonymous by default. Activity is tied to a randomly generated identifier until a candidate voluntarily provides contact details (for example, by submitting an application).

Where to view the data

Open Insights in Studio to review candidate activity, source performance, and campaign results. For guidance on tagging job posting links and reading the Sources and Campaigns views, see UTM and campaign tracking.

How it works

The analytics service is part of the inploi SDK. It maintains session identity across a candidate’s visit, captures UTM parameters from landing URLs, and attributes completed applications to the correct source and campaign. For technical detail on session identity, cookies, UTM capture, and ATS source pass-through, see Analytics Plugin.
