Applications
The Applications area shows the candidates who have applied to your roles. You can review applications per job on a board organised by stage, or search across every application company-wide, then move candidates through your hiring stages.Finding applications
- Per job — open a job and view its applications on a board organised by stage, or as a table.
- Company-wide — use the Applications view to search and filter applications across all jobs.
Application detail
Each application shows:- Application details — the candidate’s answers and submitted information
- Documents — any files attached to the application, such as a CV
- History — a timeline of stage changes and actions taken on the application
- Other applications — the same candidate’s other applications, where available
Stages
Applications move through a set of hiring stages. On a job’s board, candidates are organised into columns by stage so you can see where everyone is and move them forward.| Stage | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Applied | New applications |
| Shortlisted | Selected for further consideration |
| Interviewed | Has been through an interview |
| Offered | An offer has been extended |
| Hired | Offer accepted — a final stage |
| Rejected | Not progressing — a final stage |
| Withdrawn | Candidate withdrew, or was withdrawn — a final stage |
Moving applications
Use the actions on an application to move it between stages:| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Shortlist | Move to Shortlisted |
| Move to interview | Move to Interviewed |
| Make offer | Move to Offered |
| Hire | Move to Hired |
| Mark as withdrawn | Move to Withdrawn |
| Disqualify | Move to Rejected, with a reason |
| Move to stage | Move to a specific stage |
| Reinstate | Bring a disqualified or final-stage application back into the pipeline |
Per-company custom stage lists are not yet configurable in Studio — the stages above are the standard set used across the pipeline.
Applications and candidate records are held in Talent Bank. Some details and actions depend on your Talent Bank configuration.
