You can take a page offline in Studio without deleting it permanently. This is useful for seasonal content, event pages, or anything you want to remove temporarily.
Archiving a page
Click CMS in the left-hand navigation, then select Pages. You’ll see a list of all your pages.
Find the page you want to archive
Use the search bar to find the page by name if needed.
Open the actions menu and select Archive
Click the actions menu next to the page and select Archive. The page is taken offline immediately. It no longer appears in your site’s navigation or in search results.
Archiving a page does not delete it permanently. You can restore it at any time. Toggle the Archived filter on the Pages list to find archived pages, then use the actions menu to restore.
Removing expired job posts from search engines
If an old job page is appearing in Google or other search engines, it may take a few days for Google to re-crawl and remove it after you archive the page. For urgent removal, use Google Search Console.
Go to Google Search Console
Go to Removals → Temporary Removals and enter the full URL of the expired job page.
Google removes the URL from search results within 24 hours as a temporary measure.
Google URL removal is temporary (around 6 months). For a permanent fix, the page needs to return a 404 or 410 HTTP status. This happens automatically when you archive a page in Studio.
What to do if this doesn’t work
If you can’t find the Archive option in the actions menu, check that you have the required permissions. Ask your site admin to verify your access level.
If an archived page is still appearing on the live site, try clearing your browser cache.
