You can add images and videos to most page components in Studio. Images are uploaded directly to Studio. Videos are embedded from a hosting service like YouTube or Vimeo.

Uploading an image

1
Open the page and find the image component
2
In Studio, go to CMS → Pages and open the page you want to edit. Click the image component where you want to add or replace a photo.
3
Click to upload your image
4
Select the image file from your computer. Studio supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats.
5
Aim for image dimensions of 1200–1800px wide for hero and banner images. Smaller images may appear blurry on large screens.
6
Resize before uploading if needed
7
If your image is very large, resize it before uploading. On a Mac, open the image in Preview, go to Tools → Adjust Size, and reduce the dimensions or resolution.
8
Add alt text
9
Once uploaded, add a short description in the Alt text field. This helps candidates who use screen readers and improves your search ranking.
10
Publish the page

Managing your media library

You can browse and manage all uploaded files in one place. Go to CMS → Uploads in Studio. From here you can search for files, view details, and organise your media.

Embedding a video

Studio does not host videos directly. Instead, you embed them from YouTube or Vimeo.
1
Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo
2
Make sure the video is set to public or unlisted — not private.
3
Copy the embed URL
4
On YouTube, click Share → Embed and copy the src URL from the iframe code. It looks like: https://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEOID
5
Paste the URL into the Video component
6
In Studio, find the Video component on your page and paste the embed URL into the URL field.
7
Publish the page
If a video appears too large or small compared to an image beside it, adjust the height value in the Video component settings until they match visually.

What to do if this doesn’t work

If your image won’t upload, it’s almost always a file format or size issue. Try compressing the image first. If Studio shows an error after uploading, check that the file format is JPEG, PNG, or WebP — other formats are not supported. If an image isn’t appearing on the live site after publishing, try clearing your browser cache or viewing the page in a private or incognito window.
