What it does
- Submits the candidate’s answers, contact details, and CV to your ATS the moment they apply.
- Records every submission in inploi — successful or not — for reporting and support.
- Runs automations before and after submission, for example to score applications or notify third-party systems.
How it works
Candidate submits the form
The candidate completes your application form on the inploi careers site.
Pre-submission automations run
Any active automations configured for your account run first — for example applying a scoring model or transforming field values before they reach the ATS.
Application is sent to your ATS
inploi posts the candidate’s data to your ATS via its API, matched to the correct job using the ATS job reference. CV attachments are included where required.
Result is recorded
The outcome is stored in inploi against the job and session — success, failure, and the ATS’s own application reference where returned.
What candidates see if something goes wrong
inploi translates ATS errors into plain-language messages. Common cases:| Situation | What the candidate sees |
|---|---|
| Already applied | ”It looks like you’ve already applied for this role.” |
| Job closed in ATS | ”The job is currently closed. Please try applying later.” |
| CV required but missing | ”Please upload your CV to continue.” |
What to expect
- Applications should appear in your ATS shortly after the candidate submits.
- If an application is missing, check with your Customer Success Manager before contacting the candidate — inploi has a record of every attempt and can confirm exactly what happened.
Field mappings and CV handling are configured during implementation.
